Brian joined Mowbrey Gil in 1997 and before that was a partner in another mid-sized accounting firm. His primary interest, experience and expertise has been in the areas of assurance and income tax services to owner/managed businesses. Over his career he has developed many relationships with clients who trust his timely advice on a wide variety of accounting and taxation matters, general business questions and succession and estate planning.
He is also been the partner in charge of providing audit and other advisory services to numerous non-profit entities as well as some of the larger credit unions in Alberta, numerous pension funds, health and welfare plans and First Nations owned enterprises.
Community
A few of the many community organizations that Brian has provided volunteer services to include:
- Chair and Treasurer of the Friends of St. Albert
Children’s Theatre - Treasurer and Director the Friends of the Northern Albert
- International Children’s Festival
- Director of the St. Albert Community Lottery Board
- Treasurer and coach of the St. Albert Softball Association
